DON'T GET ON A SUNBED WEARING MAKE-UP

Cosmetics contain many different ingredients. Whether emulsifiers, fats or fragrances - in conjunction with UV rays, they may cause allergic skin reactions.

A must, therefore, before getting on a sunbed: always remove make-up! Make-up blocks the pores of the facial skin. The UV light in a sunbed opens them up again, allowing not only light to penetrate the skin but also the constituents in make up that cause allergies.

A further adverse effect of make-up is the overall deterioration in the appearance of your skin over time. As attractive as subtle make-up may be - in conjunction with the UV light from a sunbed it does more harm than good. So, before using a sunbed remove any make-up - putting it to full advantage afterwards.
